The waiting game is over the guessing game has begun. How long before the world will know the name of the third in line to the throne? Royal watchers, pundits and bookmakers appear to have narrowed the list down – George and James are among the favourites.
Discussions are underway apparently. The Duke of Cambridge told the media outside St. Mary’s hospital he and his wife are working on the name of their son.
A word of caution the guessing game could be protracted. It was a month before the Queen announced the name of her eldest, William’s own parents pondered over the decision for a week. For some what the prince may be called is irrelevant.
“Absolutely fantastic news. Three kings coming, that’s wonderful news for Great Britain,” enthused Steven Danton who lives in the capital but Donald Ross a London cabbie is not interested.
“I can’t say I am over excited. All this doesn’t really matter. To me there’s much more important things in the world going on than a royal baby,” he said.
Not it would appear in Kensington Palace where outside the world’s cameras are setting up. It is home to the prince and where he spent his first night with his mum and dad after leaving hospital.
