His parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have just released a statement thanking staff at the Lindo Wing and the whole of St Mary’s Hospital for the tremendous care they’ve received.
But there’s been no official word yet on when the public will see their newborn son.
There are reports the Duchess may remain at the hospital for most of today and possibly another night, disappointing those hoping for glimpse of His Royal Highness the Prince of Cambridge.
But with no official confirmation, the media circus remains poised outside the clinic for that first picture of the yet unnamed boy, who’s now third in line to the British throne.
