In a remarkable show of determination, bravery and not to mention athleticism 41-year-old Annette Fredskov of Denmark on Sunday entered the world record books after running 366 marathons in 365 days.
Fredskov is the first person to complete such a colossus feat.
On Sunday she finished off with two marathons meaning in total Fredskov ran 15,443 km or the equivalent to running along the Danish coastline twice.
What makes her exploits even more incredible is that she suffers from Multiple Sclerosis – a disease that appears to have gone into remission since she began her mamouth run.
