Dancer asked to leave Royal Ballet in Canada after appearing in gay porn film

A ballet dancer with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet in Canada has had to leave after appearing in a gay porn film.

Danish born Jeppe Hansen said he was told he would have to sign a letter saying he had voluntarily withdrawn from the institution.

The RWB would not comment on the allegations but said the school’s code of conduct did not allow students to perform outside the school without permission.

The 22-year-old, who has previously danced for the Queen of Denmark at palace parties and who beat thousands of hopefuls to win a scholarship at the ballet company, said the school has unfairly defined what constitutes art.

“I wanted to express myself in a different way, artistically in a different way than what I can do in the classical ballet form. And I also wanted to explore myself and my sexuality,” Hansen said.

Hansen now admits his decision was a career-limiting one, but hopes one day to be able to return to his first love of ballet.

For now is pursuing a full-time career in ‘adult entertainment’ in New York under the name Jett Black.
