Egypt: key opposition figure welcomes changes

The mass celebrations in Tahrir Square after President Mursi had been ousted were echoed by personal messages of hope.

In a live television broadcast key political figure and founder of the opposition Dostour Party Mohamed ElBaradei welcomed the changes.

“The roadmap agreed on today is a correction to the route of the great revolution of January 25. I hope that this plan will be a beginning of a re-launch of the revolution of January 25, in which the Egyptian people put all that is precious and dear, in order to retain their freedom and dignity and achieve what we all aspire for – a social justice for every Egyptian,” he said.
