Russian media magnate Alexander Lebvedev has avoided a jail sentence after being convicted of battery.
He will serve 150 hours community service for punching a rival during a TV talk show.
Lebvedev believes the trial was President Putin’s revenge for his critical comments about the government, and said he would appeal the verdict.
