Russian NGO shut down for "unpaid rent"

The Russian NGO ‘For Human Rights’ has been forcibly evicted from its Moscow offices, for alleged rent arrears, and staff have been holding a small protest outside, alleging they were victims of violence during the operation. Led by Lev Ponomaryov, who says he was beaten by police, it is one of the better-known human rights organisations in the country.
