Le Mans celebrates 90th birthday


The 24 hours of Le Mans is the world’s oldest active sports car race.

Apart from being interrupted in 1936 due to French industrial unrest and then again throughout World War two it has been held annually since 1923 and therefore this Saturday will celebrate it’s 90th Birthday.

To help celebrate the endurance race’s anniversary here’s a look at some of the highlights from the past 90 years.
