Clashes in Turkey resume with more violence
Turkish police used tear gas in the early hours of Monday 17th June morning to disperse protesters who had gathered in the centre of the capital, Ankara. The protesters were angry at the death of a fellow demonstrator, Ethem Sarisuluk, who was buried on Sunday.
