Mourinho the 'Happy One'

Mourinho the 'Happy One'

Surrounded by almost 300 hundred national and international journalists, Jose Mourinho held his first press conference since signing a four-year deal to coach Chelsea for the second time in his career.

In his first stint in charge of the Londoners the 50-year-old Portuguese dubbed himself the ‘Special one’.

However, on his return and after a turbulent three years in charge of Real Madrid, Mourinho says he is now the ‘‘happy one’‘.

He said: “I’m the happy one. I’ve the same nature, I’m the same person, I have the same heart, I have the same kind of emotions related to my passion for football and for my job but I’m of course a different person. At this moment if I have to describe myself I describe myself as a very happy person.”

Mourinho first managed the Blues between 2004 and 2007, guiding them to five major trophies.

After that he steered Inter Milan to an Italian Cup triumph and the 2010 Champions League crown while he helped Real to La Liga and Kings Cup glory.
