Hundreds of Russian opposition protesters have staged a rally in Moscow.
The demonstrators, who are against President Vladimir Putin, took part in a short march and chanted slogans against the government.
The action was organised by a coalition of dissidents who have split from the main anti-government movement.
The main opposition coalition is planning to hold a rally on Monday, the one year anniversary of a protest held on the eve of Putin’s inauguration that turned violent.
