India has lifted its travel ban on the Italian ambassador amid a row over two Italian marines accused of killing two Indian fishermen.
Daniele Mancini was barred from leaving last month when The Italian government refused to return the marines, but they later reversed this decision sending them back on March 22.
Rome said it had received assurances about the men’s treatment and their human rights and diplomatic tensions between the two countries are easing.
