Germany takes team event at the Alpine Skiing World Cup Finals

Team Germany claimed victory in the parallel racing national team event at the Alpine skiing World Cup finals at Lenzerheide in Switzerland.
The German line-up of Fritz Dopfer, Felix Neureuther; Lena Duerr Veronique Hronek won 3-1 in the final against the Swedish foursome of Andre Myhrer, Jens Byggmark, Maria Pietilae-Holmner and Frida Hansdottir.
Each nation has four racers, two men and two women.
Third place went to Italy after defeating Austria 3-1 in the ski-off.
Seven nations took part and went ahead without the United States.
