Mandela admitted to hospital for 'check-up'


Former South African president Nelson Mandela has been admitted to hospital in Pretoria for a “routine test”. It is the 94-year-old’s second spell in hospital in less than three months. Mandela who became the country’s first black president following the end of apartheid in 1994 is deeply revered worldwide.
