A retrospective exhibition of the work of Karl-Horst Hödicke has opened in Berlin. Hödicke is seen as something of the Godfather of German Neo-expressionism, and many of his works centre on Berlin’s landmarks and history.
Hödicke was born in Nüremberg in 1938 and during his long career has experimented with many styles. The exhibition focuses mainly on his work from the 60s and 70s, and it runs until the end of May.
