Credibility of Italian politics has "collapsed" - Letta


The Italian election has been one of the most fluid in recent years due to the number of undecided voters and the emergence of the anti-establishment, populist Five Star movement of Beppe Grillo.

For some, credibility in politics is clearly on the wane.

“The credibility of politics has collapsed because of scandals, because of difficulties,” said Enrico Letta from the Democratic Party, “We have all seen in these past years, the credibility of politics requires very strong answers from us, because the answers given until now have not been satisfactory.”
