Colombian rebel groups release hostages


In Colombia two police officers held hostage since January by the rebel group FARC – the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia – have been released. Peace talks are on going between FARC and the government.

A second rebel group the ELN – the National Liberation Army – has set free two Peruvian and three Colombian men who were also seized in January.
