The 2013 World Economic Forum has started in Davos, Switzerland. It is where the elite, rich, and powerful from the worlds of politics, business and academia come together.
Bill Clinton, Nelson Mandela, Bono, Bill Gates, Angela Merkel, Kofi Annan, George Soros are all Davos regulars. Vladimir Putin and Yasser Arafat have also attended.
If more than 2,600 people are expected to attend this annual meeting, security and mouths are tight, most talks and deals happen behind closed doors.
However, this year the Forum offers a “window into the 2013 annual meeting in Davos” with several means to follow the online discussion going on in the Twittersphere by curating the tweets of delegates and live infographics..
