Security cameras recorded the heart-stopping moment when a 51-year-old woman fainted and fell onto the tracks in Madrid’s metro system.
An off-duty police officer reacted quickly and got the woman off the tracks, while other passengers motioned to the driver of the oncoming train to stop.
She was treated by a doctor who was at the station and then taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The incident happened at the Marques de Vadilla station in the Spanish capital.
