Rubbish is piling up in cities in the Spanish region of Granada as as a strike by workers enters its tenth day. Officials insist there is no risk to health but some are considering bringing in the army to clear the backlog. The indefinite stoppage is over plans for a 5% wage cut, a reduction in the working week and the scrapping of bonuses.
