Police injured in new Northern Ireland flag protests

There’s been more violence in Northern Ireland following last month’s protests over the partial removal of the British flag from Belfast City Hall.

Eight police officers were injured in clashes in a loyalist area of the city.

In December an initiative by Irish nationalist councillors resulted in restrictions on the Union Jack being flown.
