Teams search for survivors after Typhoon Bopha

Typhoon Bopha has left a trail of destruction in its wake after pounding the southern Philippines, triggering landslides and floods along the coast…

Survivors are slowly emerging from shelters as search and rescue teams pull others from the wreckage of their homes.

In one isolated spot a child was plucked from under a crumpled house more than 24-hours after the typhoon hit land.

Army teams have been flown in by helicopter as many areas have been cut off by destroyed roads and collapsed bridges.

At least 325 people are known to have died but that number could rise further with local government officials reporting many more missing.
