Oscar Niemeyer, the celebrated architect who shaped the look of modern Brazil has died at the age of 104.
Starting in the 1930s, his career spanned nine decades.
His distinctive glass and white concrete buildings left their mark on cities world wide and include such landmarks as the Roman Catholic Cathedral in Brazilia.
