Hundreds of Kurds have clashed with police in Diyarbakir province in south-east Turkey during a funeral for two PKK members. Violence broke out when police tried to restrict the ceremony, refusing permission for the coffins to be carried into a residential area. The two Kurdish rebels had been killed in earlier clashes with the Turkish army.
