Heavy rainfall has caused flash floods across England and Wales, with the UK’s weather agency the Met Office issuing more than eighty flood warnings.
The deluge was particularly bad in Devon, where some residents had to be evacuated when part of the two hundred year old Great Western Canal crumbled.
More heavy rain is expected over the weekend.
