Protest against employing contract workers and low wages
Thousands of Indonesian factory workers took to the streets of the capital Jakarta on Thursday to protest against low wages and a new social security law that will require them to pay for health services.
Several thousand labourers rallied peacefully near the presidential palace before marching to the parliament building.
