Fitch to review credit rating for France


Credit rating agency Fitch has said it will review its triple-A rating on France next year.

The agency which is French owned is the only one to retain a triple-A status on the eurozone’s second largest economy, though it has a negative outlook.

French bonds largely shrugged off Moody’s downgrade announcement earlier this week. It had been expected after the agency had put France on a negative outlook in February.
