Rihanna is on a mission to perform seven concerts in seven countries in seven days! After hitting Mexico City and Toronto to promote her seventh album, “Unapologetic,” she touched down in Stockholm for the European leg of her mini-tour.
The 24-year-old singer performed old and new tracks including “Only Girl in the World.”
The show was a taste of what’s to come in her “Diamonds World Tour” scheduled for the first half of 2013.
Rihanna arrived in Stockholm on a Boeing 777, which took her to Paris on Saturday and Berlin on Sunday before heading to London and finally New York ,where she will complete the gruelling schedule and present her latest album.
“Unapologetic” is the seventh studio album by the Barbadian artist released on November 19, 2012 through Def Jam Recordings. The album was put together this year mainly during the promotion of her sixth studio album Talk That Talk (2011). As the executive producer of the album, Rihanna enlisted a variety of collaborators including Benny Blanco, David Guetta, StarGate and The-Dream.
The album’s lead single, “Diamonds” was released on September 27, 2012. The song reached number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 and topped the charts in ten additional countries.
To support the album, Rihanna will embark on the “Diamonds World Tour” beginning in March 2013.
