New York has again been hit by severe weather.
An autumn storm which normally the big apple would have ridden with ease has brought more misery for the thousands of homeless or utility-deprived citizens of the city’s lower-lying areas, still swamped by Hurricane Sandy’s waters. Evacuations have resumed, and it is feared fresh repairs will be torn down again, delaying recovery further.
