San Francisco Giants parade

Hundreds of thousands of Giants fans flooded the streets of San Francisco on Wednesday to celebrate the clubs’ 2012 World Series Championship.

Pablo Sandoval’s team-mates overcame an injury plagued season to eventually down the Detroit Tigers in four games last week and secure their second title since 2010.

With the parade coinciding with Halloween, hordes of screaming fans dressed up for the occasion added to the festivities while clouds of black, orange and white confetti were shot from cannons positioned on rooftops.

Police reportedly said over 30 arrests were made but insisted the crowds were generally peaceful and cooperative.
