Jerusalem Christian pilgrimage site in water bill row

Jesus turned water into wine – now the church at the site where he is said to have been crucified needs cash to pay its water bills.

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre has reportedly had its bank account frozen over the 1.8 million euros the Jerusalem water company says it owes.

The church argues it was exempt under a tacit agreement.
