Romney closes gap with female voters

Recent polls show the race for the US presidency is still neck and neck, but Romney has closed the gap when it comes to female voters.

Romney – campaigning in Reno, Nevada – continued to push his message of being a confident winner, but analysts say he still needs to get ahead in Ohio.

Meanwhile Obama, who has said he will vote early, later today in Chicago, is fighting back and is a hit with at least one star.

Singer Katy Perry wearing a skin tight mini dress decorated with Obama’s name, performed a spirited set at a rally for the incumbent president.
