A gunman has opened fire in a suburban beauty salon in the US, killing three women and wounding four others before turning the gun on himself.
The suspect, who was found dead at the scene in Brown Deer, Wisconsin, has been identified as 45-year-old Radcliffe Haughton.
His wife works at the salon but police have not confirmed whether she was among the victims.
Two weeks ago Haughton’s wife had a temporary restraining order placed on him after he slashed her tyres, and he was ordered to surrender his firearms to local authorities.
Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker said the shooting was another example of the “senseless acts of violence” that occur across the country.
The shooting came just days after a similar incident in Florida. On Thursday a gunman walked into a beauty salon and opened fire killing three women and wounding a fourth – his wife – before fleeing to commit suicide.
