An appeal court in the United States has overturned a ban on the sale of Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus smartphone.
It is all part of a multi-faceted battle over patents between Apple and Google, whose software powers many of Samsung’s devices.
Apple won a billion dollars in damages in August when a jury found that Samsung had copied vital features of the iPhone and iPad.
The Nexus is part of a parallel case, and Apple won an injunction to take it off the shelves before the trial.
In reversing the ban completely, the court said the original judge had abused her discretion.
