Ballon d’Or final three Argentina’s Lionel Messi and Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo matched each other blow for blow as Barcelona were held to a 2-2 draw by Real Madrid at the Camp Nou on Sunday.
Both superstars looked in great shape, grabbing two goals apiece to the delight of their managers.
Ronaldo and Messi now have 100 goals between them this calendar year, with the former Manchester United winger leading the Argentine 14 to 12 this season.
This result sees the Catalans hold on to their eight-point lead over Jose Mourinho’s men atop the table.
