Sixteen teams have been battling out in the English county of Kent, to win the World Custard Pie Championships.

Those taking part turned out in wierd and wacky costumes to pelt each other in the face with a mixture of flour and water.

The event was first held in 1967.

Contest heats lasted up to 30 seconds, with local team “Pie of the Tiger” scoring a victory against “Tutu Fruity” in the final round.
