Haneke’s Amour premieres in Germany

Austrian filmmaker Michael Haneke’s Palme d’Or award-winning movie Amour has premiered in Berlin and will go on general release across Europe this autumn.

The director, who also won the top prize at Cannes in 2009, has been both revered and reviled for his often harrowing films.
