Corsica supermarket bombings

A series of explosions rocked seven supermarkets on the French island of Corsica on Sunday night.

Damage was limited.

There has been no claim of responsibility, though in the past there has been fierce opposition to a hypermarket.

With just over 300,000 residents, Corsica’s has the highest proportion of supermarkets of any French region.
