Some 75 million years ago, this gigantic 12 metre-long dinosaur – Atsinganosaurus velauciensis, a member of the Titanosaurus family, lived in the south of France.

A team of French and Belgian paleontologists began their dig at Velaux near to Aix-en-Provence in 2002. Over the years they were able to piece together the skeleton of huge creature.
