More famous for tourists and horse racing the the seaside town of Deauville, Northern France, is in the spotlight as it plays host its 38th American Film Festival.
Movies screened 24 hours a day during the event which is known for discovering and encouraging new American talent.

This year’s festival includes tributes to veteran actor Harvey Keitel and the director of “The Exorcist” William Friedkin.

Another key moment was the world premiere of Tony Gilroy’s “The Bourne Legacy” starring Jeremy Renner and Rachel Weisz.
