Car bomb kills 12 at Damascus funeral

Twelve people have been killed and dozens injured after a car bomb exploded at a funeral in the Syrian capital, Damascus.

An anti-regime group said the attack targeted supporters of President Basher al-Assad.

The device was detonated during the funeral procession of two men killed during bombings on Monday.

Local media said 48 people were injured in the blast, some of them children.
