People flee Ecuador volcano

It has proved deadly in the past so Ecuador is taking no chances.

The Tungurahua volcano, 135 kilometres southeast of the capital Quito, is continuing its intense activity, spewing lava, ash and molten rock.

With the local population at risk, the area is being evacuated.
