Juventus coach Antonio Conte has lost his appeal against a 10-month ban over a match-fixing scandal.
Earlier this month the Italian Football Federation ruled that he had failed to report two matches that aroused suspicion when he was coach of Siena in Serie B two seasons ago.
Conte has now been acquitted over one of the matches, against Novara, but the Federation said the ban should stay for the other game against Albinoleffe.
Last season the 43-year-old led Juventus to the Serie A title undefeated in his first term in charge.
He now looks set to miss the whole of the new season, although the club says it will appeal again in September.
