The International Criminal Court has rejected a challenge to its jurisdiction by Ivory Coast ex-president Laurent Gbagbo.
The ICC decided a pre-existing agreement to recognise the court by Ivory Coast still stands today. Gbagbo faces four charges of crimes against humanity during post election violence in 2010.
