Spain jails one of three ‘al Qaeda’ suspects

A Turkish man, one of three terror suspects arrested in Spain, has been charged with possessing explosives and jailed.

He and two men of Chechen origin were detained in an international operation against al Qaeda, according to Madrid, which has suggested that attacks may have been planned in Spain or elsewhere in Europe.
