Spanish King Juan Carlos went on an unexpected royal trip when he fell over during a military ceremony in Madrid.
He had already undergone hip replacement surgery after tripping on stairs in April during an elephant hunting excursion in Botswana. A trip which had courted controversy back in his austerity-struck homeland.
