Fukushima prosecutors open criminal case

Criminal charges could be brought against the Japanese government and Tokyo Electric Power Company executives over the Fukushima disaster.

Around 1,300 Fukushima residents have asked prosecutors to determine criminal responsibility for charges including professional negligence resulting in death or injury.
