Self-cleaning buildings

The facades of buildings in our cities are blackened with pollution. This is largely down to vehicle exhaust gases, which are as dangerous for our health as for our urban architectural splendour.

That’s why, in a laboratory in Guerville, Ile-de France, frantic research on self-cleaning pollution-resistant cement is underway.
