Italian police arrest fugitive criminal gang leader

Police have arrested the leader of a criminal gang in southern Italy.

Officers found 50-year-old N’Drangheta boss Giuseppe Aguino hiding in the basement of his mother’s home.

He had been on the run for two years and is accused of drug trafficking and money laundering.
