The wife of former Chinese Politburo leader Bo Xilai is to be tried for the alleged murder of a British businessman.
Gu Kailai is accused of poisoning Neil Heywood over conflicts of interest last November. He died in a hotel room in the city of Chongqing.
A trial for the lawyer and the family’s aide Zhang Xiaojun is expected to begin early next month.
They could both face the death penalty.
Bo was dismissed from his post as party chief of Chongqing province following to the scandal. He’s not under investigation relating to this case.
